Windsor Waste Management Ltd (WWM) has maintained FORS Silver accreditation status, just a few months after successfully transitioning to ISO 45001 and receiving a positive ‘health check’ for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme aimed at raising the level of quality in fleet operations. More importantly, it sets those operators apart which achieve exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency and environmental best practice.
FORS assesses a number of areas of fleet operations including the businesses actions towards:
- Reducing carbon emissions
- Managing road risk
- And promoting education and awareness of best practice within fleet operations.
In addition to achieving FORS Silver accreditation, our fleet is also compliant with the CLOCS Standard for Construction Logistics and with TfL’s WRRR (Work Related Road Risk).
Faye Windsor, Group Operations Director commented:
“We are absolutely delighted to have maintained our FORS accreditation status as a huge amount of work goes on all year round to ensure that we are continually raising standards and meeting the requirements for Bronze and Silver status. We hope this latest run of accreditation success provides our customers reassurance of our commitment to delivering the highest levels of service and safety standards”
